Mark Roberts was born in 1963 in New Jersey, USA and started his professional career at Victaulic Corporation of America, serving as a marketing manager. He later joined Ashland Chemical Company in 1988 as a sales representative and national account manager. In 1992 he joined Potash Import & Chemical Corporation (PICC), the K+S KALI, as a sales manager, and subsequently became vice president. In 2004, he became PICC’s President, and in April 2008, he was named CEO of International Salt Company (ISCO) in Clarks Summit, Pennsylvania, USA. On 1 October, 2009, Mark Roberts became CEO of Morton Salt in Chicago, Illinois, USA. Since 1 October 2012, he has been a member of the Board of Executive Directors of K+S Aktiengesellschaft. Mark Roberts is responsible for the operating units Americas as well as Europe & Agriculture. He has also responsibility for the central functions Global Marketing-, Commercial- and Supply Chain-Excellence with the subunits Agriculture, Consumers, Industry, Communities and Supply Chain Mngt.Excellence as well as Operations-Excellence with the subunit Technical Services. Roberts is married and has two children.
