For K+S, vocational training is an important investment into the future – also in the light of demographic change. Our training activities are also part of our social responsibilities as an employer in regions that suffer from structural weakness in part, and are a commitment to Germany as a location, which, as a competitive industrial base, needs new generations of well-trained specialists.

In the light of a tangible need for specialists, and in particular for future engineers, re-cruitment is a key issue for K+S. During the past year, we have managed to take on 30 engineers as the result of a job tender campaign. Starting from this spring, with a further campaign aimed at the relevant target groups, we plan to advertise in the specialist and business media in order to attract technicians, project managers and engineers. Graduates in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, energy and power plant technology, mining, chemistry, process technology and business management are in particular demand at K+S. For certain specialist and management tasks, we are also seeking experienced employees, whose know-how will supplement our own.
