Our economic success is closely connected with the efficient application of the resources available to us in the entire value chain. In view of the world demand, the most sparing use of raw materials is our objective. We thus apply the latest exploration and extraction processes when mining potash and rock salt. Linked to this is the further development of our processing techniques, which has resulted in a consistent reduction in the consumption of specific raw materials and energy at K+S over the past few years.
