The term “Corporate Governance” denotes responsible and transparent management and control oriented towards the creation of long-term value. These principles have formed the basis of our decision-making and control processes for a long time. For K+S, the relevant legal provisions, especially the legislation that governs stock corporations, co-determination and the capital markets, our articles of association, the by-laws of the Supervisory Board and of the Board of Executive Directors and, with a few exceptions, the German Corporate Governance Code, have formed the basis on which management and control within the Company has been shaped.
