Through acquisitions in the fertilizer and salt sectors, we have grown dramatically during the last decade. In 2009, as a result of the largest acquisition in our company’s history, that of the US salt producer Morton Salt, we became the world’s leading producer of salt. We have gained new markets, products and strategic options. At the same time, other corporate cultures and ways of thinking have enriched the company.
