You are searching for a new job and you would like to know how does the application process works? Here you will find all information you need to know about the application process.

Note: Before applying, it is a good idea to make sure that your application documents (cover letter and up-to-date resume/curriculum vitae and references/certificates (if necessary)) are complete and ready to be uploaded as attachments.

Five steps to help you find your next job online

1. Searching for and finding jobs

  • Are you keen to work for K+S and have spotted some interesting job openings advertised on our job market? Conveniently apply for the vacancy you are interested in by using our online application system simply by clicking on “Apply online now”.
  • You cannot find a suitable position but would like to submit a speculative application? Then click on the following link www.k-plus-s.com/en/bewerben/e-recruiting.html. This provides an overview of all our locations in Germany. Click on your preferred location and submit a speculative application for your job area/role (e.g. intern). Clicking on the appropriate link will take you directly to our online application system.

2. How to send us your application documents

If you have already prepared your documents (formats: pdf, doc), you can apply online. Our online application process is quick and easy and will only take about 15 minutes to complete the application.

Signing in / Registration

In order to register, you need to provide your full name, a valid e-mail address and you also need to confirm that you have read and accept the data privacy statement. After completing the registration process, you will receive an automatically generated confirmation via e-mail with your user name and password. You are now registered and you can now access your candidate profile at any time and view your current application status by clicking on “Login” in the online application system.

YOU ARE ALREADY REGISTERED? If you have already registered your profile on our online job market, you can sign in directly via Login.

Enter personal data
Enter your personal data in the designated fields.
Note: Enter your landline or cell number where you can best be reached during the day.

Upload your attachments
Upload your application documents (formats: pdf, doc), including your curriculum vitae, tailored cover letter as well as your references and certificates. Click on “Attach” to upload your documents.

Note:

  • When submitting multiple applications, be sure to save your cover letter with a new file name and follow the instructions provided.
  • Before applying, it is a good idea to make sure that your application documents (cover letter and up-to-date resume/curriculum vitae and references/certificates (if necessary)) are complete and ready to be uploaded as attachments.

Overview and profile release
You will see an overview of all your information where you can check and edit your data, if necessary. Once you are satisfied with all of your profile information, you can release your profile and submit your application.

You will receive a notification via e-mail.

3. We process your application documents

Our recruiting team in Kassel will then review your documents for completeness. The application and documentation review process then commences. The recruiting team undertakes a thorough and professional recruitment and selection process in consultation with the relevant specialist department. Please note that we may contact you during the application process to seek clarification on any issues in relation to your application.

4. We want to get to know you

If you have convinced us in the first phase of the screening process, you will be invited for a personal interview so we can get to know you better. You will have an interview with one member of the HR department and at least one member of the relevant specialist department. This gives you the opportunity to meet your potential superiors but also gives you a better idea of how K+S operates as an employer. The interviewers will be pleased to answer your questions. We may invite shortlisted applicants to attend a follow-up interview.

Modified process:

  • If you are applying for an apprenticeship, you will receive an invitation to participate in an online test. 
  • If you are applying for a position in our apprentice/bachelor’s degree program and we believe you are a good match for the position, you will be invited to the recruiting day that also includes a personal interview.

5. You receive your employment contract and take the next step in your career with K+S

All you need to do is sign and return your employment contract and we look forward to welcoming you to the company when you come to work on your first day.
